Walt Disney just released a short teaser trailer for Ron Clements and John Musker’s upcoming animated family musical “The Princess and the Frog,” which is scheduled to open Dec. 25, 2009. TrailerAddict reports some of the footage above was exclusively created for this preview, but at least we get a first glimpse at the princess and her, well… frog.

So far we don’t really know that much about the film’s plot, except that the story is set in New Orleans during the Jazz Age. Oh, and it focuses on a princess and a frog too. Interestingly, Disney tries yet again to return to traditional animation with this film. Whether it pays off to release it nationwide in theaters remains to be seen. I for one am looking forward to it. Enjoy the teaser above.
