Walt Becker has signed on to direct “Stealing Time” for Columbia Pictures, Variety reported earlier today.

The film centers on three generations of men who travel all around the world to learn more about the Antikythera Mechanism, an ancient device that may help make time travel possible.

Becker is directing a script written by Colin Trevorrow, whose credits also include DreamWorks’ upcoming project “Tester.”

Becker recently helmed “Wild Hogs” and is currently wrapping up post-production of Walt Disney’s upcoming comedy “Old Dogs.” He’s also directing and producing “The Zookeeper.”
