New poster for ‘Day the Earth Stood Still’ released

Now that the trailer for Scott Derrickson’s upcoming sci-fi flick “The Day the Earth Stood Still” has been playing for several weeks already, 20th Century Fox is gearing up promotion by releasing the first official teaser posters.

The one below is not at all special, but I guess it does the job for a teaser. Starring Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly, the flick opens everywhere Dec. 12, 2008.
