Franck Tabouring in Comedy, Jim Carrey, Peyton Reed, Trailers
Our quick thoughts: I’m glad Jim Carrey finally returns to comedy in Peyton Reed’s upcoming “Yes Man,” because his shallow performance in “The Number 23” seriously left me wondering about the future of his career.
Yahoo! today premiered the first trailer for the film, and while it’s not necessarily hilarious, I have to admit it doesn’t look that bad either. For those of you still unfamiliar with the plot, “Yes Man” centers on a guy who agrees to say yes to everything for an entire year.
The trailer above doesn’t reveal much, although it shows Carrey repeatedly saying yes and having plenty of fun. Let’s hope we’ll enjoy this just as much when the flick opens Dec. 19, 2008. Zooey Deschanel, Bradley Cooper and Terence Stamp co-star. Feel free to share your thoughts on the trailer below.
