The new ‘Twilight’ teaser trailer is online!
Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 4:00PM | By Franck Tabouring In a couple of weeks, after all the hype around “The Dark Knight” slowly eases off, I’m pretty sure “Twilight” will become the next most anticipated flick of the year. Yahoo! Today posted a brand-new teaser for the flick, and I’m convinced it’s going to generate some solid buzz in the coming days.
Those of you who read and loved Stephenie Meyer’s book will probably adore this preview and get even more excited about the film’s Dec. 12 release, and those of you who didn’t get a chance yet to work your way through the novel should definitely get a better idea of what the plot is really about.
“Twilight” is directed by Catherine Hardwicke (“Thirteen”) and stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, among many others. What do guys think of this new teaser? Does it fulfill your expectations so far?

The trailer was marvolous. It fufilled a great many expectations. Yet, the more they show, the more errors surface. I have noticed many changes from the book. Of course, i realize they are not going by the book, but still i hoped for more similarities. This trailer is greatly anticipated. It was enjoyable and lasted longer than a minute, what more could a fan hope for at this point?
This video gets me even more excited for the movie as if I wasn't already excited enough! I totally can't wait for this movie! It looks soo good! I have read the books and they are the best books I have ever read and I think this is going to be the best movie I will ever see!
ugh my comps volume is broke but just the video makes me so freaking happy tht this isnt going to be like another Blood and Chocolate! offtopic but if u know the book and the movie u'd understand lol.cnt wait for Twilight to come out!
I didn't like the new teaser as much. It feels very rushed. The first one had a much better sense of mystery and suspense. There was distinct tension in it. I also think the new one shows way too much in just over a minute.
I also find it funny b/c they make it look like James' pursuit of Bella will take a majority of the film, but in the book is was roughly 20% of the story. I understand why they would do that though: having Bella and Edward just talk for an hour would get dull on screen.
Perhaps I need to read these books, because from this trailer alone I just can't see what you guys are so excited about.
I think the trailers look fab and i cant wait for the film! But, just one question...the date of the film release says 12.12.08... does this mean that date in England or America, because the book is by an American author??
Katey, this is the release date for North America. I don't know the British one at this stage, but chances are it's the same. The official site will soon launch an "international' section, with international releases.

think i can wait til 2009 to watch it!!!! lol :p
