Just two days ago I stumbled across the first trailer for John Moore’s big-screen adaptation of the popular video game “Max Payne,” and today I found a brand-new production still from the action flick over at USA Today. The quality of the image above may not be the best, but it really looks like something straight out of a video game segment. And no, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

In the film, an undercover DEA agent teams up with an assassin to solve a series of crimes. Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis (“That ‘70s Show” and “Family Guy”) star. “Max Payne” will kick butt in theaters Oct. 17, 2008. Check out the trailer here.
