Craig Zobel to rewrite ‘Loudermilk’
Craig Zobel is set to rewrite and direct Rogue Pictures’ upcoming comedy “Loudermilk,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film centers on an oddball who acquires certain superpowers after he’s accidentally contaminated with a dangerous substance. Jon Heder has signed on to star as the lead actor. He’s also co-producing the comedy with his brothers Dan and Doug.
Zobel most recently wrote and helmed “Great World of Sound,” which was nominated for best first picture at the 2008 Independent Spirit Awards.
Heder was last seen in Tim Hamilton’s comedy “Mama’s Boy.” The “Napoleon Dynamite” star will also appear in Mark Steven Johnson’s upcoming romantic comedy “When in Rome.”
