i think if there was to be a 4th made then yes he should return to direct it. personally i think the first movie was the best out of all of them, it scared me like i wanted it to and overall it was just more creative. i liked the style of directing and the way the film looked, with the lighting and colors. so if there is going to be a 4th please come back and direct it.

I think that the films were very good.I am a fan actually.Three of the best horror movies ever made!I can't say which part is my favourite, but the third part left the best feelings in me.The trilogy is the best 've seen in yers and also my favourite.I love the three films and to be honest I'll watch "Apocalypse" tonight...It's not too late.I love the trilogy and i am definetly for the possibility of another film.Or maybe another tree films...The style of directing was very interesting and i liked it.Anderson should shoot the next one.Not just interesting, brilliant!Anderson and Milla Jovovich are engaged and have a daughter and that makes them brilliant together.My fafourite trilogy, actress (Milla) and film director (Anderson) or with other words-The "Resident Evil" Trilogy!!!

I was just discussing this last night.The franchise has been of decent quality and the 3rd was just too open ended not to have a fourth. They should finish the series at 4 though and be done, otherwise Sci Fi channel will start making the sequels. Campy to Nth degree for sure! I think it would be awesome if they made another one! Why not? The movie would demand a good money budget, and the audience will come. I've never played the games or read the books, but even I know they need to scary this one up a little. Bring a little darkness into it, and show mIla as much as they can, she rocks! I hope they bring back Jill Valentine and a new guy character that can take the place of those we lost, lol. Please, dear God DO NOT MAKE A FORTH ONE!Anderson sucks as a director, and needs to take his hands off and stop doing video game adaptions for he ruins the series (ie Mortal Kombat and Aliens vs Predator). As a fan of the games I was throughly disappointed on how the movies turned out. Anderson has butchered this series and these movies shouldn't even bear the name Resident Evil, because the story line has gone to far away from the original source material. Milla is one of the worst actresses ever (granted she did do a good job in The Fifth Element, but that was her ONLY good movie).Who the hell is Alice anyway, there was never a character in the RE games named Alice. So having the storyline follow a character that was never in the game is pointless. Giving her "powers" and creating clones of her took the movies to another degree of stupidity. Granted the first RE movie was the closest one to the games, but that is still a stretch. IF a new Resident Evil movie is to be made, it should reboot the series from scratch and follow the original source material.

A good set of series.I think the movies could have better, not that they weren't good. Millia is definitely the perfect choice. I just think that the story line didnt go into enough detail. I think it would have been cool to breakdown how every area of the world handled the outbreak. Maybe show how leaders of the world escaped the situation or didnt.The crow scene was cool, but you should have took that further with wild animals in Africa and other areas.Maybe like a zombie crocadile or elephants and tigers and lions.

You have crossed the boundaries of the gaming movie. This is a well known story on its own. Regardless if you follow the game style or not, this story is what people and gamers like. Granted lots expect you to follow the games story, but really.. why bother.. You played the game> don't you wanna have a different story line to it now? i think you should finish this up. the first was amazing.. the 3rd left you wanting more. Now give us what we want.

I think that they should do a 4th movie and then be done with them, but I have to be honest, the movie (to me) seem like they are becoming more stupid every movie. I mean, the first was was totally amazing, and believable and true to the video game. And I think they were scary because it could actually "happen". And as they went on, they became less true to the game. The third one was the worst in my opinion but Paul is an amazing director and no one should do these movies but him. But at least get back to the routes of the video game and try to follow it but I think it's a little late for that. The third one got so out of hand that I think it kind of ruined the Resident Evil movies. Yeah it was entertaining but it wasn't "Resident Evil" if that makes sense. Don't get me wrong I love Resident Evil to death but I think they should have stuck with the original characters like Jill and Leon and Claire and Chris and the rest of them.

The Resident Evil movies bastardised the game franchise and should be distanced from them as much as possible as they are trash. If you want story, stick to the games that are in the canon (RE0, RE, RE2, RE:Nemesis, RE:Code Veronica, RE4 and the upcoming RE5).

As for him making another movie, sure - why the hell not. There's money to be made as long as you idiots keep watching them and he keeps taking you for a ride.

RE4 would be a project worth making, but before a greenlight is given the script, budget, director and casting would be hurtles to overcome because sometimes you don't always get the combination of excellence from each area, but then this comes back to budget. If RE4 is going to be done properly then it would cost between 85 - 100 million dollars and that would be a huge risk to invest in a horror film that grossed 149 in its last outing making it not worth the risk to produce. In order to have a decent profit the film should at least double its money and even I have doubts that RE4 could pull it off. The economy is in a recession and the film industry along with corporate america is suffering as well most studios did not make a profit this quarter even with some successes at the box office its still too early to say and if RE4 is released next year or the following year then the window of interest and opportunity wil subside. In the end its about the bottom line money.

I say make it whatever the cost become that would be awsome to have a forth one because actors bearly even make two or three films and so it would be awsome if Milla Jovovoich make four films plus she's hot when she fights zombies

All the RE movies were great but you have to end it right. RE3 end like the others open to a sequel. WHEN, not if, you do the 4th you need to end it right and like nothing ever b4 seen and of course you need the two people who started it to finish it. It doesnt have to be just like the games for it to be great cuz if you followed the games it would take longer than 4 movies and depending how you play every ones story plays out differently. I think they did a damn good job on how they told the story and I hope the 4th and final RE should be epic and bring a REckoning for umbrella.

I didn't like Resident Evil when I first start watching it. But until the second and third movie came out I LOVE IT!!! Also please make a fourth movie of Resident Evil because there need to be an ending to a storyline. Reboot the movie series, follow the f****** games, and give someone else directing, like Christopher Nolan, or hell, I'll take Peter Jackson, the movie might be 5 hours long and consist mostly of walking, but it'd still be better than this dreck.
