Bruce Willis boards ‘Kane & Lynch’

kayneandlynch.jpgBruce Willis is in talks to play the lead character in Lionsgate’s big-screen adaptation of the popular video game “Kane & Lynch,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The action game centers on a character named Kane, a death row inmate who makes it out of prison and teams up with a medicated psychopath to retrieve a lost fortune.

Simon Crane is directing a script by Kyle Ward. Crane is primarily known for his work as stunt coordinator in films such as “The Mummy” and “X-Men: The Last Stand.“

Willis’ last big film was “Live Free or Die Hard.” He’s currently filming “The Surrogates” for director Jonathan Mostow.

I don’t know much about the game and never tried it out, but Kane is apparently running around with a huge Band-Aid covering his nose. I hope they’ll slam that on Willis’ face as well.
