On July 11, 2008, gear up for the 3D adventure of the year! In Eric Brevig’s upcoming family film “Journey to the Center of the Earth,” Brendan Fraser stars as a geology professor who embarks on a quest to locate a route that will take him to the center of the planet. Joining Fraser are Josh Hutcherson and Anita Briem, who star as his nephew and some old scientist’s daughter, respectively.

Yahoo! Movies today premiered seven action-filled clips from the flick, and while they’re obviously not in 3D, they should give you a solid taste of what to expect on the big screen in two weeks. Enjoy the footage below.
