
Rumors about a fourth Jason Bourne flick have been circling the Web for months now, and according to producer Frank Marshall, the sequel is definitely going to happen.
IESB.net caught up with Marshall at the recent Saturn Awards and asked him about the plans for the fourth “Bourne” flick. He said they are currently planning to shoot the thing next summer and release it in 2010.
Marshall also said Jason Bourne may be heading to South America this time. He also said a fourth “Bourne” book was written, but because it was not written by creator Robert Ludlum, they may come up with their own story concept.
Director Paul Greengrass and lead actor Matt Damon are also rumored to return. Personally, I would love to see Bourne return to the big screen, provided they come up with a script that’s just as clever and intriguing as the previous ones.
