First official ‘The Dark Knight’ review goes online

darkfirstrv.jpgWhile most of us still have to wait a couple of weeks before we can catch a screening of Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight,” some people out there in the big world have already seen the movie.

Peter Travers over at Rolling Stone is the one who posted the first official review of the new Batman flick, and according him, it’s a great sequel. Travers gives the film 3.5 out of four stars, and here’s a quick quote from what he has to say about it:
“Heads up: a thunderbolt is about to rip into the blanket of bland we call summer movies. The Dark Knight, director Christopher Nolan's absolute stunner of a follow-up to 2005's Batman Begins, is a potent provocation decked out as a comic-book movie.”
Now, before you head over to Rolling Stone, be aware that this review contains some minor spoilers. All in all, Travers really enjoyed “The Dark Knight,” stating the film is “full of surprises you don’t see coming.”
