Our quick thoughts: Last month we posted our little review of the first teaser trailer for D.J. Caruso’s upcoming thriller “Eagle Eye,” and today, Yahoo! Movies premiered the first full-length trailer for the film starring Shia LaBeouf, Michelle Monaghan and Billy Bob Thornton.

While I really liked the short teaser, this new footage definitely increases my expectations. Of course there’s always a risk of the script messing up everything a preview promises, but at this stage, I can’t say anything bad about “Eagle Eye.”

Essentially, the film centers on a slacker and a mom who are framed as terrorists and forced to participate in a political assassination. The new trailer features the same material from the previous teaser, but now we also get to see Monaghan in action. If you liked Caruso’s “Disturbia,” you may want to check out this flick when it opens Sept. 26, 2008.
