We haven’t seen much of her on the big screen lately, but Hilary Duff is more than ready to launch into several upcoming projects. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress has joined the cast of the Polish brothers’ latest comedy “Stay Cool.”Written by Mark and Michael Polish, whose credits include “The Astronaut Farmer,” the film centers on a successful author who must face one of his high school crushes when he travels back home to deliver a commencement address.
Mark Polish slips into the role of the lead character, with Winona Ryder playing his unrequited crush. Duff plays a high school senior who flirts with the author and tries to hook up with him at the prom.
Duff can currently be seen in the political satire “War, Inc.,” which is only playing in limited cities. Before that, she last starred alongside sister Haylie Duff in “Material Girls” in 2006.
