George Gallo to helm porn comedy ‘Middle Men’

gallomiddlemen.jpgEver wanted to know how the porn industry ended up taking over the Web? According to Variety, George Gallo is set to direct “Middle Men,” a comedy about the origins of the Internet porn business.

The film is the first project to be developed by Oxymoron Entertainment and will focus on a businessman who’s thrust into the world of online porn. That’s all we know about the plot at this stage.

Gallo is directing a script he co-wrote with Andy Weiss.

Looking back at Gallo’s credits as a writer, I’m not so sure this film is such a brilliant idea. After all, Gallo is partly responsible for Les Mayfield’s disastrous comedy “Code Name: The Cleaner.” Then again, he also came up with the story of “Bad Boys.
