‘Spider-Man 4’ set for release in 2011

Spider-Man is taking a break from serving your neighborhood for a while. According to a Los Angeles Times blog, the fourth installment in the popular series is not scheduled for release until May 2011. Laura Ziskin, producer of “Spider-Man,” said Sony Pictures has not yet acquired a complete screenplay for a fourth film, although the studio recently renewed its rights with Marvel.
Neither lead actor Tobey Maguire nor director Sam Raimi has confirmed their participation in the next film, but Ziskin thinks the sequel will likely be released in 2011.
Considering “Spider-Man 3” failed to fulfill my expectations, I’m not sure whether a fourth film is the best idea. But as long as the franchise brings in plenty of moola, your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man will continue to swing by your local theater.

I will be will be so upset if you replace Toby to play Peter Parker keep all the characters because all the 3 movies were great! I think it is the best super hero movie yet

I think it is a good idea that the movie is coming out in 2011
Carnage,Scorpion,Hobgoblin,Mysterio,Vulture and Shocker should be in the next spiderman movie and also add man-spider.....that would be so cool.
And i think the year 2011 is to long....2009-2010 is better......

Hey, well I think all 3 of the movies were awesome,but however,all your characters should stay. I think this because people will see it more if you add new villains (carnage, black cat, and lizard). However, have the same characters and good luck!

Please replace Toby he ruined te last 2 movies. I still watched it, but he went downhill after part 1. No problem replacing him, they have with Bond and it only got better.
Well I think that the villains should be Lizard and Kraven in Spidey 4 and leave Carnage until Spidey 5 and maybe do the "Maximun Carnage" storyline, . Plus I think Black Cat should appear.
