Mira Nair is currently shooting “Amelia,” and the first stills from the upcoming biopic debuted today on Live Journal. You can check out one image just above and click for the rest of them right HERE.

The film centers on the life and career of Amelia Earhart, the famous American pilot who became the first woman to fly across the Atlantic by herself. In 1937, she disappeared somewhere over the Pacific during an attempt to fly around the world. Hilary Swank plays the titular character. Ewan McGregor, Richard Gere, Virginia Madsen and Christopher Eccleston co-star.
