Louis Leterrier to helm ‘Strays’

louisleterrierstrays.jpgFrench director Louis Leterrier’s is in talks to direct “Strays,” an action thriller for Summit Entertainment, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Written by Michael Ross, whose credits include “Turistas,” the film centers on a group of consultants who wake up in an abandoned and radioactive city, where they have to cope with several obstacles in order to survive.

Leterrier also directed Marvel’s reboot “The Incredible Hulk,” which stormed the North American box office this weekend after receiving critical acclaim. He also helmed “Danny the Dog” and the first two “Transporter” flicks.

Although we don’t really know much about it, “Strays” sounds like a cool project at this stage. Leterrier proved he’s a dab hand at directing action flicks, and I’m excited to see where his career will take him.
