It’s obviously no coincidence that MTV today posted a report from a set visit of Marcus Nispel’s “Friday the 13th” remake. After all, it’s Friday, June 13!

MTV’s Tera Heater describes what she experienced on the set, including her thoughts on the all-new Jason Voorhees mask, which has now officially been revealed! It doesn’t look that different from the original, but it sure brings back some memories.

Here’s a tiny excerpt from what Heater has to say about it:

“The new mask was held in a thick plastic suitcase by special makeup effects artist Scott Stoddard and treated as if it were the Holy Grail. When it was revealed, I could have sworn a heavenly light shone from the foam that held it safely in place, and the goat cried a little louder.”
