‘Indiana Jones IV’ featurette and TV spots released

May 22 is approaching and the man with the hat is on his way back to the big screen in Steven Spielberg’s “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” The film’s official Web site Wednesday released a short behind-the-scenes look and seven new TV spots for fans to enjoy.

Unfortunately the featurette is only 45 seconds, which is a bit short for my taste. It doesn’t show or reveal much either. What you get is Harrison Ford interacting with members of the crew and testing his whip a few times. He also has a quick chat with Spielberg at the end of the clip, but it’s not for us to know what they’re talking about; we only get to listen to part of a classic “Indiana Jones” theme.

As for the new TV spots, they obviously don’t reveal anything we haven’t seen in the latest trailer yet. If you pay close attention you may catch one or two new shots in between the familiar content, but that’s about it. If you like the trailer you’ll certainly enjoy these short spots as well. Enjoy them below or HERE.

“Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” opens nationwide May 22, 2008.
