George Clooney has signed on to star in Grant Heslov’s big-screen adaptation of British journalist Jon Ronson’s book “The Men Who Stare at Goats,” according to
Variety. The film centers on the U.S. military’s experiments with the paranormal. Heslov starred in Clooney’s “
Leatherheads.”

Danny Glover is set to star in a big-screen adaptation of Athol Fugard’s play “Master and Harold… and the Boys.” According to
Variety, Glover will reprise his stage role in the film. The plot centers on a young white man whose frustration turns into racist ruthlessness against two African American waiters after he learns his alcoholic father returns home.

“Postal” will not be released nationwide on May 23, 2008. Instead, the film will only make it into four theatres. I guess Uwe Boll’s latest attacks on Hollywood’s biggest stars didn’t pay off after all.
