Christina Ricci joins 'Long Time Gone'

riccinewslonggone.jpgChristina Ricci is set to star in Adam Davidson’s upcoming drama “Long Time Gone,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. Anjelica Huston, Josh Lucas and Justin Bartha have also joined the cast.

Based on April Stevens’ 1994 novel “Angel Angel,” the fill follows Ricci as an enigmatic woman who assists a dysfunctional family in changing things for the better. Karen McCullah Lutz, screenwriter of “10 Things I hate About You,” penned the script.

“Long Time Gone” marks Adam Davidson’s big-screen debut. He previously won an Oscar and the Palm d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival for his 1989 short film “The Lunch Date.”

Christina Ricci is onscreen in the Wachowskis’ action flick “Speed Racer." She’s currently filming a segment for “New York, I Love You.”
