Today we have three brand-new posters that popped up on the Web recently. The first one is for Austin Chick’s “August,” a drama starring Josh Hartnett, Naomie Harris and Adam Scott. The dark poster below is quite simple but still intriguing.
Due July 11, 2008, the film focuses on two brothers who struggle to business afloat on Wall Street a month before the 9/11 attacks on New York City. Sounds like an interesting concept for a film. “August” was written by Howard A. Rodman, who also wrote the screenplay for Tom Kalin’s upcoming film “Savage Grace.”
Our second poster is for “Journey to the Center of the Earth,” a 3D adventure starring Brendan Fraser as a scientist who discovers an entire world hidden at the center of Earth. This new poster isn’t as exciting as the previous one, but you can judge for yourself below. The film hits theaters July 11, 2008.
Last but not least, we got a hold of the first poster for Kevin Costner’s upcoming comedy “Swing Vote,” in which he plays a man whose single vote may decide the presidential election. The poster is quite boring as well, but I’ve seen worse. Good to have Costner back on the big screen. The film is due Aug. 1, 2008.
