Getting excited about the release of “Watchmen”? Can’t wait to see new film stills or a teaser trailer? The film won’t hit theaters until March 6, 2009, but Warner Bros. decided to reveal a tiny little bit more about the production of Zack Snyder’s upcoming action spectacle by releasing the first of several video journals.

If you are a fan of behind-the-scenes looks and desire to find out more about the construction of the sets for “Watchmen,” be sure to check out the clip below. The three-minute video exposes some of the massive set pieces used to shoot the flick, reassuring fans that not everything in the film was captured in front of a green screen.

The plot of the film follows a vigilante named Roshach, who embarks on an intense investigation into the murder of an ex-superhero. Jackie Earle Haley, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Patrick Wilson, Billy Crudup, Malin Akerman and Carla Gugino star.
