Blake Lively has signed on to star alongside Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder in “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee,” according to Variety. Monica Bellucci, Alan Arkin, Maria Bello and Robin Wright Penn also star.

Written and directed by Rebecca Miller, the film centers on an elderly woman who heads toward a serious crisis after her husband suggests moving to a suburban retirement community. Lively will jump into the role of a main character.

Lively’s career took off after she starred in 2005’s “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.” She is famous for her role as Serena on TV’s “Gossip Girl” and next be seen in “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.” Miller previously directed “The Ballad of Jack and Rose.”

speeemilienews.jpg ‘Speed Racer’ music video invades MySpace
The background music is terrible but the footage doesn’t look that bad in a new “Speed Racer” music video that popped up on the film’s MySpace page earlier today. Most of what you get to see comes straight out of the trailers and recent TV spots, but look closely and you’ll be able to catch a glimpse at some new shots.

But yeah, the music really stinks. Watch the music video below. “Speed Racer” is directed by the Wachowski bros. and will open May 9, 2008. Hey, that’s in two weeks! Go!
