Key dates for 66th Annual Golden Globes announced

It looks like everything will return to normal at the Golden Globes, provided we won’t be following another strike early next year. Eariler today, Jorge Camara, president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, announced the timetable for the 66th edition of the Golden Globes, which is scheduled to air live on NBC Jan. 11, 2008 at 8 p.m. EST.
Here’s how it’s all supposed to go down, according to the official Web site of HFPA:
October 31, 2008: Final date for press conferences for Television entries
November 7, 2008: Deadline for submission of Golden Globe entry forms
November 26, 2008: Deadline for nomination ballots to be mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members
December 6, 2008: Final screening date for Motion Pictures
December 7, 2008: Final date for Motion Picture press conferences
December 8, 2008: Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of nomination ballots
December 11, 2008: 5:00 a.m. Nomination announcement of “The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards”
December 12, 2008: Deadline for receipt of media credential applications
December 22, 2008: Final ballots mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members
December 31, 2008: Deadline for receipt of publicist credential applications
January 7, 2009: Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of final ballots
January 11, 2009: Presentation of “The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards” Live telecast on NBC Television at 8 p.m. EST
