The first teaser trailer (watch it below) for Frank Miller's upcoming action spectacle "The Spirit" debuted on the Web just a couple of days ago, and now the film gets two new teaser posters. The first one shows main character Denny Colt standing on top of a building with "My City Screams" stylishly serving as a facade. The second poster is a character poster showing Eva Mendes as Sand Saref. Hopefully more of these will be on the way soon.

"The Spirit" is based on the graphic novels by Will Eisner. As you can also see in the teaser trailer, the film looks very much like "Sin City." I'm still waiting (and hoping) for the production of the sequel to start anytime soon. "The Spirit" will hit theaters Jan. 19, 2009.
