It's Friday again. Time really passes quickly, doesn't it? Today, we have some casting news for you. Natalie Portman is set to star in an adaptation of a classic novel, while Colin Farrell joins a crime thriller. Also, Adrien Brody teams up with a famous Italian director for a horror thriller. To wrap it up and kick off the weekend, we've found some exclusive set pics from the upcoming "X-Files" sequel. Enjoy today's take on film reviews.

Natalie Portman to star in “Wuthering Heights”
Natalie Portman is in negotiations to star in the latest big screen adaptation of Emily Bronte’s “Wuthering Heights,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. She will jump into the role of the novel’s main character Catherine Earnshaw.

Olivia Hetreed, screenwriter of “Girl With a Pearl Earing,” compiled the script. The film’s release is currently set for sometime in 2010. Portman most recently starred in Justin Chadwick’s historical drama “The Other Boleyn Girl.

Colin Farrell joins “Triage”
The Hollywood Reporter announced Thursday that Colin Farrell has signed on to star in Danis Tanovic’s upcoming thriller “Triage.” He will be joining Paz Vega and Christopher Lee.

Based on the novel by Scott Anderson, the film focuses on a photojournalist (Farrell) who is thrust into a perilous mystery following his return from a dangerous assignment. Paz Vega will play his girlfriend.

Tanovic also directed “No Man’s Land,” which won the Oscar for best foreign-language film in 2002. Farrell was last seen in “In Bruges.” He will next be seen in “Pride and Glory.”

Adrien Brody joins cast of “Giallo”
Also from The Hollywood Reporter: Adrien Brody is set to star in Dario Argento’s upcoming horror thriller “Giallo,” in which an American flight attendant and an Italian detective team up to track down a woman who has been kidnapped by a killer known as “Yellow.”

Dario Argento is famous for his Italian horror films, notably “Opera” and “Suspiria.”
