Oscar-nominated actress Amy Adams will star in 20th Century Fox's big-screen adaptation of Adena Halpern's novel "The Ten Best Days of My Life."

According to Variety, "Night at the Museum" helmer Shawn Levy may direct the film, which focuses on a woman who dies and goes to heaven, where she risks losing privileges unless she can recount the 10 best days of her life.

Adams and Levy recently worked together on "Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian," which is currently in post-production and scheduled for release May 22, 2009.

After delivering a delicious performance in "Enchanted," Adams snatched roles in "Charlie Wilson's War" and "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day." She will next star in "Doubt."
