Now that Catherine Hardwicke's "Twilight" has collected about $120 million in just two weeks, we're hearing a lot about the sequel, "New Moon."

As Joblo reports, lead actress Kristen Stewart recently talked to Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM, saying the follow-up to the vampire romance may start shooting as early as March 2009.

People also tell me part of the second book takes place in Italy, and according to Stewart, they may even end up filming over there.

While talking to MTV recently, Hardwicke also chatted about the challenges she'll have to deal with in "New Moon."

“[Bella hearing Edward’s voice] would be one of the challenges for sure. Like, how much do you see it? Does it look like an aberration? Does it look like it’s in her mind? That’s one of the things you would have to test," she told MTV.

And just in case you haven't heard or read it yet, Stewart and co-actor Robert Pattinson will apprently receive a $12 million paycheck for the second film.

That's all the "New Moon" news I got for you today. Are you excited? Share all of your thoughts below.
