Will Chris Weitz helm 'New Moon'?

Maybe. At least he's currently in negotiations to direct the sequel to Catherine Hardwicke's "Twilight," according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Summit Entertainment didn't confirm this yet, but Chris Weitz's name has been named plenty of times in recent Web stories about who will direct "New Moon."

As you may have heard, Hardwicke will not return for the follow-up. Summit released a statement recently citing scheduling as the main reason, but I still think they just fired her because they were unsatisfied with her result.

In the end, who cares anyway, right? As long as we get to see a better film than the first, I don't care who's directing.

Weitz, however, would be interesting choice. He and his brother Paul brought us "American Pie" and "About a Boy," a great film with Hugh Grant. Chris most recently directed "The Golden Compass."

bella's song
for new moon
by ho_quinn111@yahoo.com

say that i love him
want to be with him forever
no matter what happens
i'll be by his side
but he thinks i ain't right
that'll he'll ruin my life
says he has to leave
but it's for me

CHORUS
I LOVE HIM
AND I NEED HIM
AND WANT HIM
I'M LIKE A ZOMBIE WITHOUT HIM
HE LOVES ME
AND HE'D RATHER DIE THAN CAUSE ME HARM
SO HE LEFT HERE
TO SAVE ME
DOESN'T REALIZE MY PAIN
DOESN'T KNOW THAT HE'S MY LIFE

if i had a choice i'd be in his arms
even though he's broke my heart
and left me empty
and no one one under stands why
say i need to let him go
but

CHORUS

i still love him
i still need him
never gonna get over him
no one understands
that without him

i'm dead

what do you think?
