Reilly, Tomei check in with Duplass bros.
John C. Reilly, Marisa Tomei and Jonah Hill are in negotiations to star in a Fox Searchlight untitled comedy written and directed by Mark and Jay Duplass.
According to Variety, the film follows a divorced man (Reilly) who falls in love with the woman (Tomei) of his dreams. Unfortunately, she has a son (Hill) who does not want his mother to date anyone.
This premise pretty much sounds exactly like "Mamma's Boy," in which Jon Heder played an idiot son who refused to share his mother (Diane Keaton) with a new man (Jeff Daniels).
Anyway, the Duplass brothers most recently helmed "Baghead." They are currently wrapping up post-production for "The Do-Deca-Pentathlon."
Reilly was last seen in "Step Brothers." He will next star in Paul Weitz's "Cirque du Freak." As for Tomei, she will next be seen in "The Wrestler" with Mickey Rourke. Hill is currently filming Judd Apatow's "Funny People."
