Marc Forster set to ‘Die Hard’

“Quantum of Solace” helmer Marc Forster is in talks to direct Universal’s remake of the 2000 Korean film “Die Bad.”

Variety says the original film (directed by Seung-wan Ryoo) is a small collection of four segments focusing on the rise and fall of a gangster.

Brad Ingelsby is penning the screenplay. He’s currently working on the adaptation of DC Comics’ “Sleeper,” as well as a project Todd Field may be interested to direct.

As for Forster, his credits include “Monster’s Ball,” “Finding Neverland” and “Stranger than Fiction.” He most recently directed “The Kite Runner.”

His latest James Bond adventure “Quantum of Solace” opens Nov. 14, 2008.
