Trailer radar: 'New in Town'

Renée Zellweger gets her cold on in Jonas Elmer's romantic comedy "New in Town," for which you can check out the new trailer right after the jump.

In the film, Zellweger plays a businesswoman from Miami who's sent to a cold town in Minnesota to oversee a new project.

But while the adjustment to the new temperatures prove to be a tough task, her heart slowly warms up for a local resident played by Harry Connick Jr.

Sometimes a trailer makes it difficult to get a clear first impression of a movie, and I'm not quite sure what to think of "New in Town." It looks a little silly at this point, but knows... Zellweger certainly has solid charm.

Watch out for "Town" Jan. 30, 2009.

This movie looks great! Just the thing for the winter time after Christmas. Renee is a marvelous actress with magnificent comedic timing and she and Harry look like they have chemistry! Should be a hit!

Happy to see Ms. Zellweger in theaters again. I really was impressed by her performance in both Appaloosa and Leatherheads this year. She is great in all genres, but in comedies, she really charms.

The previews of New In Town look Great! Renee is a very good actress and I believe she can play any character. Her comic timing in romantic comedies is perfection. I loved her in Appaloosa and Leatherheads; even though the critics didn't give her much credit.
I would like to know when she is going to do another musical......I thought in Chicago she was shear perfection and had a very good voice. I was hoping that she would do that Janis Joplin autobiography would really show what she could really do. I think she would be great with Hugh Jackman, another very good singer.
She also has very good chemistry with Ewan McGregor.
