As long as they're innovative enough and keep me entertained without wasting my time or insulting my intelligence, I generally have nothing against sequels. Still, I don't think "Transporter 3" was such a brilliant idea.

I certainly enjoyed the first film despite its silliness, but the first sequel left me disappointed in Frank Martin, especially because the action got more over the top and the plot unfolded in pretty much the exact same way as the first.

Well, now the third installment rolls along, and while the trailer looks at least a bit entertaining, this clip after the jump confirms my early fears: it's the exact same thing yet again. The scene below is just a copy of one scene from the first film, and even the fighting is totally identical.

Let's hope we'll see something new in "Transporter 3," which arrives in cinemas Nov. 26, 2008.
