With all the craziness going on about the upcoming release of Catherine Hardwicke's vampire romance "Twilight," Summit Entertainment is already working hard developing sequels.
Although we already knew that at least one follow-up would be heading our way in the near future, Summit has acquired the right to Stephenie Meyer's next three novels in the popular series, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Yes fans, you'll certainly be able to see Edward and Bella on the big screen more than once. The trade says Melissa Rosenberg, who wrote the first adaptation, is already on board to tackle the screenplays for "New Moon" and "Eclipse."
No writer is currently attached to adapt "Breakind Dawn," the fourth book.
It's pretty safe to say Summit has already scored big with the upcoming release of "Twilight." I mean, this film has generated just as much - if not more - buzz than "The Dark Knight."
For all the Twilighters out there, the long wait will be over Nov. 21, when the first book comes to life on the silver screen. I still haven't read the books and probably won't get a chance to (too many movies to watch), but I sure am eager to see what all this insane fuss is about.
