Jesse Eisenberg is in negotiations to join Woody Harrelson in Ruben Fleischer’s upcoming horror comedy “Zombieland,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

In the film written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, Harrelson will play Albuquerque, one of several survivors who struggle to get by in a world dominated by zombies.

The trade says Eisenberg would play Flagstaff, a terrified shut-in whose cowardice makes him an expert at surviving the zombies but who is forced out of his shell to join the band of survivors.

Eisenberg, whose credits include “Roger Dodger,” and “The Squid and the Whale,” most recently starred in “The Hunting Party.”

He also recently wrapped filming for Greg Mottola’s “Adventureland,” about a college grad who works a boring job at an amusement park.
