Now that Steven Spielberg's "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" grossed $316.8 million domestically and about $770 million worldwide, it's no surprise the guys behind the film are already thinking about another sequel. After all, it's all about the money and not the quality, right?
In a recent interview with Geoff Boucher at the Los Angeles Times, Harrison Ford said George Lucas is already working on an idea for a fifth "Indiana Jones" film.
"It's crazy but great. George is in think mode right now," Ford told Boucher. "It's automatic, really, we did well with the last one and with that having done well and been a positive experience, it's not surprising that some people want to do it again."
While I didn't exactly hate "Crystal Skull," I wasn't really impressed by the latest installment either. I personally don't need to see another Indy adventure, but who knows, maybe you do?

I have been and Indiana Jones fan all of my 30 years of life but this last movie didnt do anything for me. It wasnt so much the story line (even though it wasnt great) it was more that I really didnt want to see Indy as a 60+ man. No more Indy movies.
Listen, there is nothing wrong with men in their 60s kicking ass. In fact I think it adds to the flava of the action. I LOVE seeing old guys kicking ass, it gives me hope for my future of recovering and still being able to kick ass. Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson, Stallone, all these guys have made GREAT movies in their 60s
Bronson was 66-67 during Death Wish 3-4 and he looked GREAT! Despite opinions on those they are still cult classics.
Eastwood is 78 and doing Gran Torino right now! Never has an actor aged so gracefully in the action biz.
Stallone has Rambo 5, and the Expendables lined up. To anyone who says he is to old, I challenge you to spar him or arm wrestle him. I have and he is tough! he hits as hard as any heavyweight I sparred with. Although he gasses out within 2-3 rounds these days. In a street fight he'd whoop even Jet Li's ass.
Harrison Ford was in great shape in Indy 4. He should do Indy 5-6 back-to-back. Shia can be in it but only become more central near the end of 6, finally passing the torch, thus ending the Indy series (since who wants to see that little punk be Indy?!)
Ive no problem with indy 5, indy as an older man is fine and i think that as long as they stay away from superants and alien skulls they might pull it off, more archeology and legend, less aliens.
