Lionsgate recently released the first screenshot from Patrick Lussier’s upcoming horror flick “My Bloody Valentine 3-D,” a remake of the 1981 film of the same title. Check it out just above; it’s quite bloody indeed.

Starring Jensen Ackles, Jaime King, Kerr Smith and Edi Gathegi, the film focuses on a guy who returns to his hometown years after a bloody Valentine’s Day massacre. But instead of a homecoming, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders.

As you can see in the title, the whole thing will arrive in theaters in 3D. People being brutally slashed and blood splattering all over your face - how’s that’s for a 3D experience? The film is set to open Jan. 16, 2009.
