Third ‘xXx’ movie to open in 2010?
Franck TabouringWhile the return of Rob Cohen and Vin Diesel for a third “xXx” flick is not exactly news, here’s something that should excite die-hard fans of the franchise: the third film is planned for a 2010 release.
That’s right, Xander Cage may return to the big screen very soon. According to Collider, director Rob Cohen said he’s trying to get the project together for a 2009 shoot, with a release in the summer of 2010.
That is, if everything were to go according to plan, of course.
The new sequel is entitled “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage,” but plot details are unknown at this stage.
Cohen directed Diesel in the first film of the series in 2002, pulling in $106.2 million domestically. But they both refused to return for the 2005 sequel, which starred Ice Cube and totally crashed at the box office.

I don't know why the 2005 sequel didn't do as well, it was good...they were both action packed.
at the end of xXx state of the union they said it's time for a whole new model so why whould they go back to vin diesel
I thought Xander Cage died in the second one, at least that's what they said in the beginning " Xander Cage was killed in Bora Bora last night"

im sorry richard collins mate you are an idiot, the first xXx was way better than the second, because it had A) a better plot and story and B) it had Vin Diesel in instead of F*****G Ice Cube who btw cant act to save his life. The second film was a waste and shldn't of been made.
I thought that they Killed off Vin Diesel character in the second one i heard them say they found him dead in a hotel or something so how can he be back

I can't wait for this new xxx to come out, finally they bring back Vin Diesel, they should have never made a xxx with out him, he plays the part way better then Ice Cube a.k.a. "mr kid movie master" that guy should just stick to rappin cause what the hell kind of rapper does kiddy family movies like; are we there yet, anyway. And the second xxx wasn't even that good, i mean yeah it was action packed but the acting was horrible. Diesel is the only one who should be playin this part, he's a bonified bad ass and he fits the part perfectly.

I am beyond excited i watched the first xxx and thats where i became a huge fan of vin deisel's. the second movie was a flop and a disgrace to the xxx name. i was hoping this would happen and if it does and by the looks of it should i cant wait to see it and i plan to go to the midnight premiere
I have an idea for the next xXx, it should be somebody different all the time, kind of like James Bond.... I mean i know that the new Bond movies now are focused on this blonde haired kat but think about it, its like a agencies and new agents come all the time.... so on that note pick somebody highly unthought of but fits every detail of the character...... he can act his butt off, known for his action movies, he's a very suave sexy guy, will bring more attention to the movie, and funny as hell...... can anybody guess who I'm talking about??? so when i say it, before you are quick to say NO think about it...... It's August 3,2010 Where is the new XXX film? Any updates? Get Rod Cohen on the phone and get the project together. The Big screen is getting boring without Vin being out there!
vindiesel didnt keep up to his standerd as far as i am concerned ice cube did a great job and it would be neat to see him in the third one also
