Franck Tabouring Oscar-nominates actress Amy Adams has signed on to star in an indie drama titled “Daughter of the Queen Sheba,” according to Variety.
Based on the biography of NPR correspondent Jacki Lyden, the film follows a woman who fuels her power via her mother’s madness.
The trade says Lyden was the first NPR correspondent to return to air after 9/11.
Karen Croner wrote the script, but no director is attached to the project at this stage.
Adams recently starred in “Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day.” She will next be seen in “Doubt,” followed by “Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian” and “Julie & Julia.”
