This week in theaters: Zack, Miri and Molly

Here are the wide releases for Friday, Oct. 31, 2008: "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" and "The Haunting of Molly Hartley."

ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO

Who's in it? Seth Rogen, Elizabeth Banks, Jason Mewes, Katie Morgan, Craig Robinson, Justin Long

What is it about? Two lifelong friends decide to make a porno in order to wipe out their debt.

Excited? Very much so. Although early reviews are mixed, I'm quite excited to see Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks team up to make their porno version of "Star Wars." Could be very funny indeed.

THE HAUNTING OF MOLLY HARTLEY

Who's in it? Haley Bennett, Jake Weber, Chace Crawford, Shanna Collins

What is it about? A teenage girl discovers that her parents made a pact with the devil to save her life. When the devil comes to collect, terrible things begin to happen and she must figure out if and how she can save herself.

Excited? What? Another one of these? How about a break? Besides the fact that Haley Bennett is not really a convincing actress, this horror flick sounds like something that would go directly to DVD. Can't say I'm excited about this one.
