It sure is coming! According to Variety, DreamWorks Animation is currently developing “Pandamonium,” the sequel to this year’s successful animated action flick “Kung Fu Panda.”
The film is scheduled for release June 3, 2011, and it will be produced in stereoscopic 3D technology. Jack Black and Angelina Jolie have already agreed to return as part of the voice cast.
The return of Po the fat panda is certainly no surprise. After all, the first film took home $214.9 million domestically and more than $626 million worldwide.
Not much is known about the plot at this stage, except that the film follows the adventures of the kung fu panda who carries out an ancient prophecy. Jennifer Yuh Nelson is set to direct.
Black was last seen in Ben Stiller’s “Tropic Thunder.” Jolie can next be seen in Clint Eastwood’s “Changeling.”
So, are you excited about more panda action? Sound off below.

I am so excited about the new Kung Fu panda sequel.
I can't wait until it comes to theatres and DVD. I like the
Secrets of the Furious 5 and Kung Fu Panda.
