Our quick thoughts: One of the finest and most provocative science fiction films ever made, "Blade Runner" has never looked better than on this fantastic DVD collection. The discs include four different versions of the film, including the "Final Cut," new to this DVD. "Blade Runner" is an absolute visual stunner, with a bleak and realistic vision of the future to rival such classics as "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "Metropolis." The bonus material also features a three-and-a-half hour documentary entitled "Dangerous Days," which offers its viewers an intriguing behind-the-scenes look.

Freaky quote: "Wake up! Time to Die!" - Brion James

The final word: This is the ultimate version of "Blade Runner" on DVD. It belongs on any science fiction or film fan's shelf.
